Although not one of the most well known cocktails, the Martinez is the originator of many cocktails that you know and love like the Martini. A gorgeous blend of sweet cherry and dry No.3 Gin, this sophisticated cocktail perfectly balances classic flavours, perfect for a dinner party or evening soiree.

Martinez Ingredients

• 45ml No. 3 London Dry Gin

• 15ml Sweet Vermouth

• 10ml Dry Vermouth

• 7.5ml Maraschino liqueur

• 1 Orange

• Ice

Equipment

• Jigger (spirit measure)

• Strain

• Coupette glass

Martinez Recipe

1. Measure out all of the liquid ingredients and pour into a glass filled with ice.

2. Stir well and then strain into a chilled coupette glass.

3. Garnish with an orange twist.
